We program the back-ends of web sites and web applications with languages like Php 5, Ruby, Coldfusion and Perl.

We use agile development methods in all our projects. Agile methods closely involve the client as a vital part of the team which saves time and reduces miscommunications that delay the project or deliver mis-designed features. The project is divided into iterations, each of which has a series of steps: requirements, design, programming (test-driven), acceptance tests, and deployment.

We use frameworks such as Php's Zend Framework, Ruby on Rails or Catalyst for Perl. Frameworks help us to work faster since they provide the basics which keep us from reinventing the wheel for your project.

We store and retrieve data with relational databases like Postgresql and MySql, and document databases like MongoDB and CouchDB. Overlooked text formats such as Docbook, Markdown, Yaml and Json are valuable to us, too.

Designs → Semantic HTML & CSS

We hand-code HTML to deliver very clean document markup that validates and complies with state of the art standards. Clean HTML markup renders faster and more consistently in browsers and is the key foundation to search engine optimization. Frameworks appear here as well, such as Blueprint CSS, 960 CSS and Yahoo's CSS Grids for page layout and typography.

Javascript programming helps us to build interactive Ajax-based interfaces. Our favorite Javascript framework is jQuery.
